For Immediate Release: A3P Praises President Trump for Updated Supreme Court List

Launches Campaign to Promote President Trump, Senate Republicans on Judges

WASHINGTON, DC — The Article III Project (A3P), which promotes and defends President Trump’s judicial nominees and appointed judges, released a statement praising the President’s newly updated Supreme Court list:

“Conservatives should be thrilled with President Trump’s outstanding choices of jurists who he will consider for future Supreme Court vacancies,” said A3P founder and president Mike Davis. “With a near-record pace of more than 200 federal judges confirmed in three-and-a-half years, reshaping the federal judiciary is the most important and enduring part of President Trump’s legacy. Conservatives recognize how important it was to confirm Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court — and with this list, President Trump is again showcasing his transparent, groundbreaking, and highly successful approach to nominating Supreme Court justices. In contrast, Vice President Biden and Senator Harris haven’t released their own Supreme Court list — as they likely know their potential Supreme Court picks would scare the hell out of American voters.”

Today’s updated list by President Trump includes 20 additional potential judicial nominees for the high court, who are added to the previous list of 26 potential Supreme Court picks (Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and 24 others).

Judge Bridget Bade (9th Circuit Court of Appeals)

Daniel Cameron (Attorney General of Kentucky)

Paul Clement (Former Solicitor General)

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR)

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)

Judge Kyle Duncan (5th Circuit Court of Appeals)

Steve Engel (Assistant Attorney General)

Noel Francisco (former Solicitor General)

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO)

Judge Jim Ho (5th Circuit Court of Appeals)

Judge Gregory Katsas (DC Circuit)

Judge Barbara Lagoa (11th Circuit Court of Appeals)

Amb. Chris Landau (U.S. Amb. to Mexico)

Judge Carlos Muñiz (Florida Supreme Court)

Judge Martha Pacold (Northern District of Illinois)

Judge Peter Phipps (3rd Circuit Court of Appeals)

Judge Sarah Pitlyk (Eastern District of Illinois)

Judge Allison Jones Rushing (4th Circuit Court of Appeals)

Kate Todd (Deputy WH Counsel)

Judge Lawrence VanDyke (9th Circuit Court of Appeals)

“Any of these well-qualified candidates would make an outstanding choice for a Supreme Court vacancy,” said Davis. “In 2016, then-candidate Donald Trumpcampaigned on his promise to appoint conservative Supreme Court justices, in the mold of the late, great-Justice Scalia. With his appointments of Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, President Trump fulfilled his promise to American voters. By issuing his updated Supreme Court list, President Trump is once again putting his cards on the table for the American people—promising to pick Supreme Court justices who understand their crucial job in protecting us from government overreach and mob rule.”

In an effort to support the Trump Administration and Senate Republicans in their effort to confirm President Trump’s judicial picks, A3P is launching a fall campaign. This Includes a 2-minute digital adexplaining to American voters the importance of the federal judiciary, issuing the “Biden-Harris list” of potential Supreme Court picks favored by leftwing groups, opinion pieces praising President Trump and Senate Republicans facing voters this fall, research and rapid response, an aggressive social media presence, and numerous media interviews.
