Article III Project Statement on FBI Destroying Evidence in Clinton Foundation Investigation

WASHINGTON — Mike Davis, Founder and President of the Article III Project, issued the following statement after a report showed that the FBI returned or destroyed evidence from its investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

“The FBI knew then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had an illegal home server with America’s most classified secrets, almost certainly hacked by our worst enemies. The FBI also knew Hillary’s illegal home server contained evidence of the Clinton Foundation’s illegal pay-for-play bribery schemes. The FBI knew Hillary obstructed justice by destroying this server in the face of a congressional subpoena.

“So what did the FBI do? The FBI destroyed the remaining evidence. And the FBI colluded with 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, President Obama, Vice President Biden, the Obama Attorney General, the Obama CIA director, and others to launch the baseless Russian collusion hoax against presidential candidate Donald Trump. The resulting bogus Crossfire Hurricane investigation led to 3 years of hobbling the Trump presidency.

“At the same time, the FBI hid evidence that 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden was compromised by corrupt millions in foreign payments to himself and his extended family, including evidence then-Vice President Joe Biden took a foreign bribe and changed American policy.

“Then the FBI went to a biased magistrate judge and executed an unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful home raid on the heavily secured and congressionally-funded Office of Former President Donald Trump, to steal his damning copy of his Crossfire Hurricane records that he declassified via presidential memo the day before he left office but President Biden reclassified and never made public.

“In other words, the FBI directly interfered in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 presidential elections. So House Republicans must issue broad subpoenas for documents, depositions, and public testimony for every bad actor involved. House Republicans must also use the power of the purse and take a wrecking ball to these bad actors at the FBI so this never happens again,” said Davis.

The Article III Project (A3P) was founded by veteran GOP operative and attorney Mike Davis, who, after helping win the Senate confirmation battles of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, developed the reputation as a “take-no-prisoners conservative eager to challenge the left with hardball tactics,” as reported in The New York Times.

A3P defends constitutionalist judges, punches back on radical assaults on judicial independence (like court-packing) and opposes judicial and other nominees who are outside of the mainstream. Davis previously served as Chief Counsel for Nominations to Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary and led the Senate confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a record number of circuit court judges.
